By booking or receiving services from Sterling Automotive Detailing, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

 

1. Mobile Service Overview

Sterling Automotive Detailing provides MOBILE car detailing services only.
All services are performed at the customer’s provided location, such as a home, apartment complex, or workplace.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the service location is safe, legal, and accessible for mobile detailing.

 

2. Personal Belongings

Customers must remove all personal items from their vehicle before the scheduled appointment.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Bags, clothing, and valuables

  • Documents and electronics

  • Items in the glove box, center console, door pockets, trunk, and under seats

If personal items remain in the vehicle:

  • Those areas will not be cleaned or detailed

  • Items will not be moved, opened, or handled

Sterling Automotive Detailing is not responsible for lost, damaged, or misplaced personal items left inside the vehicle.

 

3. Access to Vehicle & Work Area

The customer must ensure:

  • The vehicle is present at the scheduled location

  • Keys are available or the vehicle is unlocked

  • Adequate space exists around the vehicle to safely perform services

If the vehicle cannot be accessed or serviced upon arrival, the appointment may be canceled and subject to a cancellation fee.

 

4. Water & Power Access (If Required)

Unless otherwise stated, customers must provide:

  • Access to water

  • Access to electricity

If water or power is unavailable and not previously disclosed, the appointment may be rescheduled or canceled.

(Some services may use onboard water or power when available.)

 

5. Vehicle Condition Disclosure

Customers must inform us prior to service of any known pre-existing conditions, including:

  • Scratches, dents, or paint damage

  • Fading or peeling clear coat

  • Cracked plastics or trim

  • Torn upholstery or worn materials

  • Electrical or sensor issues

We are not responsible for damage caused by:

  • Pre-existing defects

  • Fragile, aged, or deteriorated materials

  • Prior repairs or aftermarket modifications

Detailing may reveal damage that was previously hidden by dirt or debris.

 

6. Excessive Dirt & Additional Charges

Vehicles with excessive conditions may require additional fees, including:

  • Heavy pet hair

  • Excessive mud or sand

  • Severe stains

  • Trash buildup

  • Biohazards (vomit, mold, bodily fluids)

Final pricing may be adjusted after inspection.
We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions pose health or safety risks.

 

7. Weather Policy

Mobile detailing services are weather dependent.

Appointments may be delayed or rescheduled due to:

  • Rain or storms

  • Extreme heat or cold

  • High winds

  • Unsafe working conditions

Weather-related reschedules will be arranged at the earliest available time.

8. Appointment Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance

  • Cancellations within 24 hours may result in a cancellation fee

  • Failure to appear without notice is considered a no-show

Repeated no-shows may result in refusal of future services.

 

9. Satisfaction Policy

If you are not satisfied with your service:

  • Please notify us before we leave the service location

We will make reasonable efforts to address concerns at that time.

Once the service is completed and accepted, refunds are not guaranteed.

 

10. Damage Disclaimer

While every effort is made to ensure safe and careful detailing, Sterling Automotive Detailing is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Failing clear coat or paint

  • Loose trim or panels

  • Electrical malfunctions not caused by negligence

  • Damage related to aftermarket parts

Normal detailing procedures may expose existing wear or damage.

 

11. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service for:

  • Unsafe working environments

  • Restricted or illegal service locations

  • Aggressive or inappropriate behavior

  • Presence of hazardous materials

  • Misrepresentation of vehicle condition

Payment may still be required for time or services already performed.

 

12. Payments & Pricing

  • Prices may vary based on vehicle size and condition

  • Final pricing is determined after inspection

  • Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed

  • Prices are subject to change without notice

Accepted payment methods will be listed on our website or provided at booking.

 

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sterling Automotive Detailing shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from mobile detailing services.

 

14. Agreement

By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms of Service

  • You agree to all conditions outlined above
